I bought this model because it was more expensive \"pro\" model so I figured it would be more reliable than cheaper saws. Before I could open the box and use the saw, my job took me out of state 1600 miles for two years. When I returned I opened the box and attempted to use the saw. It ran about 20 minutes then died. Will start but will only run for a few seconds. Using the throttle either has no effect or causes the engine to bog down and die. Of course warranty is expired. Most local saw dealers will not touch craftsman saws with a 10 foot pole! Finally found an Echo dealer who took it in for repair. They told me all they did was adjust carb.. Took it back to Echo dealer, they had a closer look and confirmed my assessment; they adjust carb, it runs fine for a few minutes then is dead on arrival. Would cost more than the saw is worth to have them repair it. They have no idea what it might take to fix the problem. The saw I received is JUNK! Next saw I buy will be a Stihl or Echo which has a local dealer to support it!
